Power Door Lock Not Working On 2008 Dodge Ram
Power door locks do not work.
Power door lock not working on 2008 dodge ram. I took the wire harness out and tested it and it works fine. I read in a forum that it could be the relay that has a 25a fuse in it that. Symptom summary the power door locks are all inoperative or a single door lock is inoperative. Windows can still work but locks will all stop.

Posted on sep 25 2008. It runs off a 5 volt reference. My power windows on a 2008 dodge ram 1500 will not close. Dodge ram 1500 owners have reported 2 problems related to power door locks not working under the electrical system category.
Average repair cost is 200 at 62 150 miles. Check the driver side door switch control if that goes bad all the locks will stop working including for the key fob. For a 10 relay gotta spend 500 1000 dollars to fix power door locks. What a forked up way to build stuff.
Could be the issue or the relay it self is bad. The reason the locks dont work more then likely there is a code stored in the bcm for a lock output circuit normally caused by one if not both of the sliding door acuators. The most recently reported issues are listed below. Even if you change the acuators the locks still will not work until the code is cleared.
The switch provides power to the door lock solenoids.
